Most IT problems in mid-sized companies are not disasters. They are a hundred small things: a laptop that has not seen an update in months. A machine that slows down until someone calls. A vulnerability that could have been closed long ago — if anyone had owned it. Managed Workplace means: we own it. Every day, for every device, with evidence.
Sound familiar?
- The question “are our machines actually up to date?” gets answered with “they should be” — not with a report.
- Your IT person is good, but alone. Updates, monitoring and documentation keep slipping because something is always more urgent.
- The cyber-insurance questionnaire asks about patch cycles and endpoint protection — and you have to guess instead of proving.
- A colleague has been working for three weeks on a device with expired protection. Nobody noticed.
- Support means: whoever shouts loudest gets served first. There is no overview of what is open.
Why this happens
Workplace operations are routine work that is never finished. New operating-system and application updates every month, new vulnerabilities every week, small incidents every day. This work is not difficult — but it is relentless, and routine always loses against whatever is on fire today.
There is also a tooling problem: professional device operations need a platform that rolls out patches, watches device health and allows remote access. Such platforms pay off at hundreds of devices — a single company with 40 seats can rarely run one economically. We can, because we spread it across many customers.
And finally the Microsoft misunderstanding: many offers on the market silently assume your devices live in a Microsoft management environment such as Intune. In many mid-sized companies they do not — grown environments, local accounts, shop-floor machines. Our operations are vendor-independent: your devices need neither Intune nor any cloud management for us to run them. If they have it, even better — it is never a requirement.
What every workplace gets
Whichever tier you choose, every device receives this baseline care:
Patch management
Operating system and standard applications updated in fixed cycles — planned, rolled out in a controlled way, documented. Failed updates get seen and fixed instead of glowing red for months.
Monitoring and alerting
Every device continuously reports its health: storage, load, services, security state. When something tips, we see it — often before the person at the device does.
Inventory and documentation
Which devices exist, who uses them, what runs on them, which licences are attached. Sounds trivial; is missing almost everywhere.
From → to: you choose the support depth
- Tier 1 — Base. For companies with their own IT: we provide the tooling and the routine — patches, monitoring, inventory. Your IT stays first contact for users; we are their technical backstop. Everything beyond is billed by effort at the agreed rate.
- Tier 2 — Managed. The standard for companies without an IT department: your people contact us directly — through a ticket portal, by mail or phone. Incidents and small requests are included with a fair-use limit we write openly into the offer instead of promising “unlimited” with an asterisk. Plus joiner/mover/leaver handling and a named contact who knows your environment.
- Tier 3 — Complete. For companies that want to hand IT over entirely: extended service hours, on-site visits within an agreed scope, quarterly reviews with management, budget and lifecycle planning.
What never hides inside the flat fee is on the packages page — projects, hardware and licences are priced separately and up front.
Optional building blocks
- Endpoint protection with active response — the active defence on the device, as its own per-device block. We recommend it to practically every customer — and itemise it instead of blending it into the flat fee. More under IT security.
- Backup for workplaces and cloud data — monitored and test-restored, not just installed. See add-ons.
- Zero-trust access — company access on a “verify first, then connect” basis instead of classic VPN.
- Microsoft 365 — licences and administration if you work in the Microsoft world. A building block, never a prerequisite.
FAQ
Does this work without Microsoft 365 or Intune? Yes — that is the core of our approach. Our operations platform is vendor-independent and manages Windows, Mac and server systems even when they sit in no cloud management at all. Microsoft 365 is an optional building block, not a foundation.
What does “fair-use limit” mean in practice? We write a reference value into the offer — a typical number of requests per employee per month. If your company sits far above it for months, we talk about the cause instead of silently paying extra or quietly throttling. The opposite of “unlimited*”.
We already have an IT person. Do you replace them? No — tier 1 exists precisely to relieve them: we take the routine, your IT keeps the user contact and the knowledge of your line-of-business systems.
Is there a minimum size? No. We launched in 2026 and grow with our customers — even five seats are welcome. What stays honest: individual blocks such as a managed SIEM only pay off from a certain size, and we will say so.
